EVENTS
The Dadar Institute of Hotel Management Alumni Association organized an educational field visit for the students of IHM, Mumbai to Prashant Corner, a premium mithai and snack manufacturing unit located in Thane, on 7th February 2026. A total of 20 students voluntarily participated in the visit. The objective of the field trip was to provide students with practical exposure to large-scale food production and modern manufacturing practices in the Indian sweets and snacks industry. During the visit, students were given an in-depth overview of the manufacturing processes of various products, including milk-based mithais, dry fruit-based mithais, hot snacks, and a wide range of farsan varieties. The visit provided valuable insights into industrial food production, hygiene standards, and quality control practices.

DIHMAA organized an impactful blood donation drive in association with Bharat
Ratna Rajiv Gandhi Blood Center (Mira-Bhayandar Municipality) on Tuesday, 17th
February 2026, from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM at Embassy Hall.
A special note of gratitude to Mr. Jogesh Sikka, Honorary
Public Relations Officer, for his invaluable cooperation and support in making
this drive a success.
We proudly acknowledge and thank the 199 donors — including our
students, faculty members, administrative staff, and security personnel — who
voluntarily stepped forward to contribute to this noble cause. Your generosity
and compassion will help save countless lives.
